I have downloaded a shiur and the sound quality was poor, what can I do?
The sound quality of the shiurim of this site varies slightly depending on the age and original method of recording of the shiur. The most recent lectures have all been recorded directly in MP3 format, and therefore have a high sound quality. We are using the best technology available to improve the quality of our older recordings, and while we do our best there may still be occasional recordings that may be difficult to hear. It is our hope that, once the process of conversion is completed, we will return to these poor quality tapes and utilize more powerful filtering programs to improve their sound. Nevertheless, if you feel that you cannot hear the lecture, please contact us with the title of the shiur, and we will try and improve the quality.
How do I make a donation to support this website?
You can make your donation online by going to our sponsorship page. All donations made in the U.S. are tax deductible. Your donation is much appreciated.
iAwaken.org requests donations for several reasons:
1. There have been considerable expenses entailed in collecting the material, editing it, converting it from audiotape to MP3 format, and creating the iAwaken website. There will continue to be expenses to maintain, manage and expand the site.
2. We hope to use revenue from the site to facilitate the publication of Rabbi Lapin's work and free him to dedicate increasing amounts of his time to teaching Torah around the world.
3. We believe these shiurim are enormously valuable and contain proprietary innovative ideas of Rabbi Lapin. His ideas have transformed the lives of many who have used them both in their personal and work lives. We believe only those who perceive the value in them, should be able to access them.
